Rossana Orlandi Galleria
Via Matteo Bandello 16,
From 4th-9th April, European design brand Sé presents its world in a new exhibit entitled ‘Sé Ensemble’, an apartment created within the atmospheric Galleria Rossana Orlandi. Merging pattern, texture and shape, this is a curatorial vision which emphasises Sé’s signature qualities of craftsmanship, curvaceousness and timelessness.
Marking its seventh year within the prestigious design hub, Sé transforms its dedicated space into an apartment to spark conversation; a showcase of pieces from across all three collections in four different rooms – a Lounge, Dining Room, Dressing Room and Salon. New pieces, including the dream-like ‘Stay Daybed’ by Nika Zupanc, will be revealed for the first time.
By placing the works into an apartment context, Sé demonstrates the adaptability of each highly finished piece to harmonise with any interior scheme. Sé’s three critically acclaimed collections sit side-by-side with finishes in unexpected hues complemented by new upholstery by Milanese fabric house Dedar.
Creating a new but recognisable rhythm for the brand, Sé Ensemble introduces new partnerships. Finishing touches to the apartment include rugs from traditional French producer La Manufacture Cogolin and artisanal wallpapers by Brooklyn-based Calico, 'including the highly anticipated collaboration with BCXSY, ‘Microcosmos’, which will be joined by inspiring new pieces from selected artists, sculptors and craftsmen.
A must-see destination for eclectic design, Galleria Rossana Orlandi - led by the design guru herself - is renowned for its ability to spot the latest talent and take its visitor on a journey of discovery. This year is no exception as Sé's exclusive Italian stockist plays host to an impressive line-up of exhibitors including Scarlet Splendour and Piet Hein Eek.
Co-founder at Sé, Pavlo Schtakleff comments, “with Sé Ensemble, we invite you directly into the world of Sé. In these four carefully-curated rooms, you'll discover how pieces from all three Sé collections achieve stylistic unity, and how they mingle with decor created by our partners, friends and artists. They've been chosen for having a flair and ethos that matches our vision and we're grateful to them as well as to you, for giving us this wonderful opportunity to share our philosophy for living."
